... Robert Lamar and Paula joined hands in marriage. 60 years have passed and I had the pleasure of joining them for dinner and hearing stories I had never heard before. I really wish I would have brought a video camera to Panevino and recorded every word. Stories of moonlit plane rides over utah lake (I think it was cleaner then) made it seem like a movie I very much wanted to be the star of.
My sister put together a video for them and it contained photos that told the decades so well. I found myself longing for the time of classic beauties and never dressing down. I love these pictures and I hope you do too.

how much did i love this post! seriously. there is just something about old pictures that are untouched, unedited, and raw in such a beautiful yet truthful way.
i wish i lived back then, and had some sweet pictures like those. how great that they are still in such good condition. beautiful!

you have to scroll down to read it all! what in the world?!
Leysin is usually between 60's-80's. It gets cooler at night and rains off and on. Towards the end of the summer it rained about 3-4 days a week. One of the trips will be to Zermatt, a glacier, so be sure to bring at least a sweat shirt as it is pretty chilly on the top of the Materhorn...I am sooooooo jealous of your summer. SO jealous.
i've tagged you twice now dammit. better get to them BOTH!
Oh I love this post! Teryn you're a blogging pro, I swear. And, you're right, how fun to have lived in that time. My grandma tells me all the time how when she went "downtown" she had to put on nice gloves. That's so serious. I think I put on slippers. Ugh.
Cool pictures...especially that handsome devil and the airplane.
And, P.S. I got your message and I DO have funny birthing stories for you. I'll call you back soon!
Love ya!
Teryn! I freaking love this! I always have wished I lived back in those days.. Always looking beautiful and going to dances. You and I could have really shown those people whats up :) I love your blogs. They are seriously the best!
I miss you so much already and you have only been gone for 1 day. I don't even live by you, but just knowing you were only a 3 hour drive made it okay.
Hope you're having fun.
