Dammit Walt...the Yeti was from the Himalayas

We went to the Matterhorn and brought 70 8-12 yr olds with us.  So to have a better handle on the chick-lets we have families.  My husband is from Mexico, I have 2 Italian sons, 1 polish son, 1 ukrainian son, 1 German son, 1 american daughter and 1 Saudi Arabian daughter.  Its wonderful cause the kids really get into it and call me Mom.  We stay together for the major field trips and have 4 family nights over the 3 week session.  Anyway...the Matterhorn...WOW.  Its not the highest peak but its known for how it stands all alone and the difficulty of climbing it.  I thought it was where the Yeti originated but no one else had been influenced by "the happiest place on earth" or knew what I was referring to, which I liked.  Once again the pics don't quite do it justice.
Turns out the top is usually covered by clouds, but it showed its face for me!

We took a train to the top where there is the highest 5 star hotel in the world and hiked down.

These are my Italian sons full of wanderlust and curiosity. I needed to keep them from falling into this....
They'a' under'a'stand'a' me better if I'a' talk'a' to them'a' like'a' this'a'.  For reals though.

Clouds came later though.

We asked ourselves...Where's Pedro?  And there he was on the other side of the Lake!  Can you see him?
My favorite Brazilians!

My family after the hours of hiking.  Just Kidding.  On the streets of Zermont, and I wondered how those 2 Billy goats made it all the way to Kolob and why did they think they were sheep?

Well, with the world as your family I just want to know when your soccer team family is going to play against the other families. A mexican, german, italians, and a russian.... the odds are looking good for your family. Soccer is the worlds sport. Love the pictures and am so jealous at all you get to absorb and see with your beautiful eyes. Love ya

Ah....that glacier has nothing on Mendenhall Glacier! Amazing though! Where are your daughters? Was that your Mexican Husband? Huba huba! When Teryn arrives the heavens open. Does that hotel have oxygene in its rooms like the one in Peru? If so get me a reservation!! Don't know what happened to the billy goats? We now have beautiful horses, and no sheep. Must have been that Disney thing Bibadeebobadeeboo!! I bet those Europeans would be equally impressed with Zion and Kolob!!!Love you, you look happy and beautiful! Thanks for sharing your good time with us.

Okay. This just isn't fair. You are getting to see some of the greatest places in Europe on someone else's dime and I'm still taking flack for suggesting that you go.

Just one word. "Flabbergasterik!"

Take notes. When we go back you are going to need to take us to the places you have been. I'm not really sure if this is hard work or hardly working. And yes, the Yeti is from the Himalayas. Nice! Perpetuating the global perception that Americans only believe what they learn at Disneyland.

Ok Teryn,
You went there to Work? Yeah!! That looks like you are working Hard. NOT!!!!
That place is amazing. I'm afraid you're going to tell us that you've decided to live there for good. I guess I will have to go over there to enjoy the movies with you then. If I must, I would make the sacrafice. What are friends for?

Love ya,
Jane
