I went horseback riding in a cloud.

We haven't seen the sun for days but it didn't stop us from our activities. It actually cleared up tonight and is freezing now. Reminds me a little too much of Provo. Well, I was lovin it for the horseback riding, so eerie and dreamy. Listening to Gypsy's hooves crack the trail through the forrest I found myself yearning for something unexpected to happen. Guess it wouldn't have been so unexpected then. Next time I won't think about it; simply stay long enough so something unexpected does happen.

I also got to take a bunch of kidlets ice skating. I love skating but my fingers were bloody from tieing so many laces, and then tieing them again and again. "Why are you taking off your skates?" "Miss Teryn it just doesn't feel right." I almost tied their little necks.

Kids are wonderful. So easy to impress and they just want to have fun. Hey that sounds familiar. I showed them how to turn in a circle and skate backwards; you would have thought I was Kristi Yamaguchi the way they reacted. So cute, so innocent, so fun!

If they were your own kids you would have said, "you untie those skates one more time and we are going home!," Or better yet, "You need to learn to tie your own skates, if you are big enough to skate you should know how to tie your skates!" It is good to teach independence.
Gypsy in a Cloud! Sounds like a good name for a song. I like the green eyes, and the pod hopping turtle! Mystical...

Love the pictures. If you were mom they would have been carrying those skates over their shoulders in the snow with all of their own coats and mittens and scarves. Like she said.....if you are going to learn to do this, you are going to learn to do all of this. Call me..we are trying to plan a trip. If you were on Bumper, he would have just bolted into the dark, dreary, foggy forest and eventually bucked you off or just stopped! Good times in Toquerville.
Love ya

its hard for me to look at your blog because it really makes me want to pack up my bag, buy a ticket to switzerland, show up at the camp and tell them im ready to be a counselor and not take no for an answer. I think you need to put in a good word for me for next year. but as far as damien surfing, he caused that big whole wiping out surfing, then paraded around the beach (a family beach) with his butt hanging out. Priceless.
Oh I love it. How about you're brave enough to ride a horse? They scare the sheesh out of me. And I married a cowboy whose family has 16 of them. Literally. I also love that you're getting to know kids. Welcome to my job...I could also tie their necks...
Nice profile pic, by the way.
Teryn-
That looks so fun. It reminds me of a movie. I think you were waiting for a horse with a man who didn't have a head and carried a pumpkin on his arm...just a thought.
Miss you
