Sir Ham Newton

I have never ever been able to draw. Me trying to draw is like a tone def person trying to sing. Its nice that they're trying but mostly you just want them to stop. Well, the semester is over and I completed my first drawing class that I must take for the BFA at the U. I finally realized that if I take the time to do what my teacher tells me....I actually do ok. My favorite was portraits.....and this was my first one.....my classmate Ellen. I seem to do better when I think of my assignments like puzzles (color and tone wise)....I don't know if that makes sense but it worked for me. I'm excited for the second semester of 2D art!
