Some days I work on Main St and Washington....by a shanty town

My day was crummy so I turned to an adult beverage. I poured my perfectly proportioned Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke mix as I noticed the clerk smiling and rummaging behind the counter like a coo coo bird. He was skinny, wrinkly and wearing a thick flannel with the hood up. After he rang me up,

Him: "You stay warm out there you hear?" (it's 102 pea ess, so it made me smile)

Me: "oh, I will."

pause...im putting my things away and walking towards the door

Him: "Merry Christmas!" rockin a huge toothless grin

Me: "Merry Christmas to you!"

What a perfect perk up. Thank you for that. Whether or not he really thought it was Christmas? I'm glad I'll never know.

Teryn, I love your blog.
That is all.

Not it's not.
Sometimes (actually most of the time) I don't know what to comment because I am stumped by your eloquent writing.
