Everything was pretty much great. Good weather, good company, good time.
We chose bread and cheese in the park for lunch.

Not the average park. It was huge and bordered a lake. They were setting up bleachers for a concert which is performed on a platform on the water. That is neat! It also provided toys for the kids like this....
And signs for the adults like this....
We quickly fell asleep after eating.
Woke up and walked to the beach; where I wish I would have seen this sign before trying to feel the water via rochers.
Unfortunately I went to feel the enticing water on a hot day by walking on the rocks. Little did I know that they were coated with about a centimeter of slippery slime. My feet went flying up and I landed flat on my back. I laughed at myself a little....but the french teenaged boys laughed at me a lot....finger pointing and all. I felt as if I was part of some sort of cruel cartoon moment. My clothes had orange and green slime on them so I started walking to the beach showers when a woman kindly offered me some pain medication. I politely declined and laughed inside. My concerned friend from Sweden tried to snap a picture of me on my back after I had fallen but I had already stood up.

Anywho, we laid on the beach and fell asleep yet again. My clothes dried; we walked around the town and got some food.

Who knew the trout would come out with head, tail and all?
One of the most photographed monuments in France, Palais de I'Isle, an old jail.

I love Night Photography!!!!

Your trip to France looked beautiful. Fun to be somewhere during a beautiful time of year.
Good thing you got fish instead of Poison. If you understand that joke, you might just know enough French to be dangerous.
Now! A little advice from your big brother. You will need a translator.
Vous devriez cesser de tenir le bar. Il ne place pas un bon exemple à d'autres.
Just 13 more days.......maybe 12 when you get this.
France looks so civilized but it is not!
Ouch you had a big bump on your crazy bone!! Did you share some colorful English! Remember Arnica it really helps with bruises and relieves swelling and pain.
If I had a pony tricycle like that when I was a little girl I would have been CRAZY!!!
Get nighttime shot! You are very good!
I meant Great Nighttime shot.
Dear Catastrophe Waitress? Not! Those rocks weren't the good old sand stone ones we are used to. I feel your pain. Take pictures instead of coming to your rescue?
Love YOU!!
I wish I had taken that nighttime pic, my shutter release isn't working, i need to find a new one and pay 3 times what it would cost in the states.
your email made my day! and I have some pretty exciting things going on these days ;)
I will get back to you shortly but YES I am finally in the big apple and am LOVING IT!!!!!

You are too funny falling over like that. Not like you meant to but you know what I mean. How about I wish I'd been behind you with a bb gun so I could shoot those pointing, laughing boys. Lame-o's. How about your posts are about France and mine are about HOME. Jealous. Did you get my email?
Teryn,
I suck! Call me again!
Hey you looks amazing! How neat to be able to travel to all those beautiful places. I think you are great Teryn!
